We live in a time of unprecedented access to people and opportunities through online networks. But the Common Ties Mentorship Program offers the irreplaceable connection that comes from a one-on-one interaction with someone who shares your values and experiences.
Common Ties isn’t a job placement service. It’s a vibrant network of UCC students, Old Boys, parents and friends of the College community. The program offers an opportunity for mentees to better understand and realize their personal goals. Its purpose is to foster the personal development of UCC alumni as they make their way in the world.
The Common Ties Mentorship Program has a great deal to offer both prospective mentors and mentees. Like any network, it becomes more valuable with every new participant.
Are you looking to impart the wisdom of your experience on one of our Young Old Boys? To a young man finding his way in the world, your mentorship can be invaluable. As a mentor, you’ll enjoy the reward of knowing you’ve made a positive difference in an Old Boy’s life – a great return on an investment of just a small amount of time. Register today as a mentor.
Are you an Old Boy looking for advice on your career or education path? Looking to change careers? Wondering how to achieve some work-life balance? Register now as a mentee.
The Common Ties Advisory Committee steers UCC’s mentorship program to ensure it meets the needs of all constituents. Each member can serve a maximum of two three-year terms.
